Hi Victor,
I have just had a look on the tours for 2014. I am so sorry & upset to hear how you have been treated & that you have left Crete forever.
I cannot understand why people would want to elaborate and not tell the truth about Spinalonga.
The actress Joanna Lumley was the presenter on the program below & she had a gentleman tour guide with her {this man’s relation was a nurse at Spinalonga} and I can assure you he left you with no question in your mind as to how terrible, sad and painful the situation was on the island.
It is a tragic outcome and a sad end to an era that you no longer can carry on doing what you love to do & educating the public in the history of the island.

I met u when I was eighteen on Tonys boat. U gave a fantastic talk about the Island. I was horrified ang felt the sorrow on that Island and was horrified by the desiccation of the graves of those people. I have visit Ag. Nic. Now for several years, and have never left the boat since. I was fascinated by the stories u explain of the Nazi GOs who tried to help these people, and ur full explanation of the perverse incentive these people were offered to go there. I hope you are well and are still educating people of how others tried to offer a ‘Christian’ humanity

Many years ago I came to the island of Crete and was one of the lucky people to have you as a guide to Spinalonga. You made the island come alive with your stories of what really happened and also made me ashamed that just a fews years before there were people suffering on this tiny island and the world turned there backs.
I have never forgotten the way it made me feel and have read many articles about Spinalonga since visiting, none so informative as the guided tour with you. I have told my children about leprosy and the island and my eldest son has been to see for himself. I just wanted to thank you for caring so much and ensuring that the people who lived and died there are never forgotten.

u were my tour guide to Spinalonga in 2007, when l was a tour leader in Crete, Chania. I came one day to take part from your tour. Honestly it was an amazing tour. I even got your book with your signature 😉
As l read now fr your website u left Crete, quite sad news. I just wanted to write to u and ask, are u still making tours, l just put together Cretan tour nd I wanted u speak about Spinalonga.
2007, when l went to island, l saw another estonian group there and l just quietly sitting and listening what she told to them and officially nothing about your story, only about castle island. I came back to home and l wrote about Spinalonga article, useing stories what l heard fr u.

Journée inoubliable avec l’aura que vous dégagez… !
Malheureusement ce jour là avait mal commencé pour vous, souvenez-vous peut-être, vous êtes tombé au départ entre le quai et le bateau, et à cause des forts vents nous avons été
transférés par car sur un autre port et là, vous y étiez déjà quand-même au départ avec vos commentaires sur Spinalonga.
Nous avons acheté votre livre et vous nous avez envoyé votre DVD que nous transmettons volontiers à nos amis et connaissances.
